Cell Phone Policy
Effective January 6, 2025, a new cell phone policy will be in effect for all schools as a result of state law under the General Appropriations Bill, H. 5100 of 2024. This policy requires no students to have a cell phone in the classroom.
At Camp Road, we will start using Yondr Pouches on January 6, 2025 to ensure compliance with this policy.
As a reminder, Yondr pouches are specialized locking pouches designed to securely store students' cell phones during school hours. With the implementation of Yondr Pouches, all students will be required to place their cell phones in a Yondr pouch upon arrival to homeroom. The pouches will then be locked. Students will keep their locked pouches with them, ensuring that their phones are still in their possession. The pouches will be unlocked during PM homeroom at the end of the day.
Please read through the CRMS Yondr Pouch Policies and Procedures for more information.
